Cretaceous Fossil Turtle

Step back to summer of 2019 with me and see my field trip to the South Dakota badlands. This quarry is known for T-Rex, Triceratops, Edmontosaurus, Thescelosaurus, and Nanotyrannus, among others. I did find some museum-quality dinosaur bones and a sweet Nanotyrannus tooth, but by far my prettiest find that week was a turtle that was creeping around where the behemoths tread.
